After the celebration of the Six of Wands, its time to get back to work. The Seven of Wands is the courage and determination you have to stand on your own two feet and continue your success. Nothing falls into your lap and stays there. Success doesn’t come without perseverance and doesn’t stay without hard work. I know I’m making it sound like a dire, winner takes all death match; but it’s really not. Its creating new goals for yourself, goals that will support and grow your current one, and working to achieve them. It’s continuing to build.
Reversed Seven of Wands is much like a reversed Six of Wands, when challenges or criticism comes your way you back down. You take it to heart and, even worse, pick up where they left off. You tell yourself that you can’t do this, that you don’t deserve this, that your goals are stupid, or that you should give up. While you can’t choose nor can you control what comes out of someone’s mouth, you can choose whether or not to believe it. I know this is easier said than done. But remember you are the only one who has to live with your negative thoughts, just like you are the only one who has to live with your regrets. That’s not to say you should take the reversed Seven of Wands to its other extreme. Becoming defensive and angry is just as counterproductive as having no confidence in yourself.
As always, thanks for reading and let me know what you think in the comments. Bye!
